About
4 unique wood cabins, designed and built by the owners. They are generously spaced within a 3 acre meadow and set in a hidden wooded valley, 5 minutes from the Harbour town of Aberaeron.
The cabins are cosy getaways all year round. Guests enjoy being immersed in the outdoors at all times during their stay, with outdoor kitchen and living areas for each cabin. Indoors, the cabins are super insulated and cosy. So, there is always somewhere warm to escape to if its chilly outdoors. Each cabin has a private bathroom a short walk away.
There is a strong emphasis on sustainability on site, guests are asked to sort and recycle as much waste as they can, the cabins and hot water are heated using renewable energy and the cabins were built using local wood and maximum insulation. A native woodland has been planted and the owners are experimenting with letting the land revert to its natural state to encourage more diversity.
There is a natural swimming pond on site which is visited by otters in the winter. There is also a rowing boat and a jetty for pond dipping. Children and adults love the rope swing at the top of the site.
