Our cosy family cottage is recently restored with a light and spacious 1st floor lounge with aspect patio doors opening onto a terrace and a 1/2 acre woodland garden.
It has a modern, well equipped kitchen, dining area and new stylish shower room. Romantic ground floor double bedroom and upstairs twin room with 2 * 2'6" beds. Feature spiral staircase.
Glandwr has been fully modernised with under floor heating but still retains lots of original character and features.
The woodland garden has a BBQ, camp fire pit, a summerhouse which has children's activities or is ideal for adults to read, sketch, paint or meditate. The garden is great for building dens (camouflage nets provided), searching for fairies and just having adventures.
Relax and watch the wildlife from the cottage or one of its numerous seating areas whilst listening to the birds and adjacent stream.
Glandwr is set in the peaceful hamlet of Cwmbyr, less than 1/2 mile from the historic village of Talley and its abbey. It is just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park near Llandeilo with its excellent shops, restaurants, cafes and takeaways. The lively Cwmdu community village shop/pub is less than 1.5 miles up the lane.
Talley is an ideal base for walking, cycling or trips to the coast and is within easy reach of many visitor attractions.
