About

Enjoy a creative performance on the East Front Lawn which overlooks the surrounding hillside.

Stan's café Theatre Company will be here to take us on a journey through story telling, exploring the history of the River Severn.

Learn more about the history, extraordinary nature, ecology, geology, famous sights and people, alongside fascinating and beguiling myths.

The performance is 45 minutes long with 15 minutes to look at the map and chat to the performer afterwards.

Meeting point: Doors open half an hour before performances. Both performances take place on the East Front Lawn. Please follow the stewards' directions from the main car park.

What to bring and wear: Please bring your own picnic blankets or low-backed seating. Dress for the weather and wrap up warm.

Accessibility: Access to the East Front Lawn is via steps. Outdoor lift available for wheelchairs (please note this is at the end of a long gravel path). Please contact Powis Castle and Garden for information about our closer drop off area or any other questions around accessibility.

Other: Lunches, hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks can be purchased from the Courtyard cafe until 5pm.
