About
Each Easter (Good Friday) the Talyllyn Railway offers a unique “Stations at Stations” event that combines historic steam train travel with a reflective Stations of the Cross pilgrimage.
Beginning at Tywyn Wharf Station, a specially-timed service stops at each of the line’s stations where participants can hear biblical readings and prayers that follow the traditional journey of Jesus Christ on the way to the Cross, creating a moving spiritual experience through the scenic Mid Wales valley.
The event includes steam train travel along the heritage route, refreshments at Abergynolwyn, and is free to attend with advance booking required to reserve a place on the train.
