Powis Castle & Gardens

About

Step back in time over two hundred years and meet Elizabeth Bennet and her sisters as they navigate the mire of manners of regency society.

With stunning period costume, timeless wit, and a romantic original score, Chapterhouse’s Pride and Prejudice is a faithful telling of Austen’s greatest work. Join family and friends for an evening of magical theatre.

The performance runs for 2 hours and 20 minutes (including the interval).

Meeting point: Doors open at 5.30pm and the show starts at 6.30pm. The performance takes place in the Formal Garden. Please follow the stewards' directions from the main car park to the garden.

What to bring and wear: Please bring your own picnic blankets or low-backed seating. Dress for the weather and wrap up warm.

Accessibility: The Formal Garden is approximately a 10 minute walk from the car park. Please contact Powis Castle and Garden for information about our closer drop off area.

Other: Hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks will be on sale before and during the show until the end of the interval.
