Kite Festival Aberdovey 2026

About

The Aberdovey Kite Festival is a free, family-friendly event held on the beach in the coastal village of Aberdovey. It features colourful kite displays from experienced flyers as well as areas where visitors can fly their own kites. The festival usually runs during the day with activities and entertainment for families.

In 2026, the event will take place on 27–28 June, with kites flying from 10:00 to 16:00 each day. The festival often includes large display kites, children’s kite-making activities, and community workshops before the main event.
