About

Porth Neigwl, or Hell's Mouth as it is also known, is a south west facing rural beach frequented by surfers and kayakers because of the relatively large waves. It is a gently shelving beach, consisting mainly of medium sized pebbles at high tide but with vast expanses of sand at low tide. The beach seldom gets busy and is often a good spot to get away from the busier beaches of Abersoch.

There are no facilities at the beach; pub with food at Llanengan. Small car park (no charge) with 200m footpath to the beach. Dogs are allowed.
