Mold
Mold bus station is located off the A494 in the town centre with services from/to Chester, Wrexham, Flint, Mold, Ruthin and Denbigh.

Porthmadog
A long and sandy bay backed by sand dunes at the northern edge of the mouth of Tremadog Bay, south-west of Porthmadog. The beach is a huge expanse of sand, with some small caves at one end and plenty of space for dogs and children to run around.
Llandeilo
This beautiful area of parkland has many very old trees, some of which are estimated to be over 700 years old and which support numerous interesting lichens and insects.
The eastern beach at Criccieth backed by a promenade is south facing, pebbly and popular with families.
Gwynedd
Cwm Idwal was the first officially recognised National Nature Reserve in Wales; it was given this status by the Nature Conservancy Council in 1954. Along with Cadair Idris, Cwm Idwal was a favourite haunt of Charles Darwin.
The village of Trawsfynydd is off the A470 to the north Dolgellau and south of Blaenau Ffestiniog; it has a population of just under 1000.
This stretch of the Wales Coast Path is an area of contrasts; from the stunning coastline of the Gower Peninsula, with its award winning golden beaches, to the busy seaside city of Swansea and spectacular views over Swansea Bay.
Machynlleth
This walk starts at the car park at Y Plas, Machynlleth and is graded as moderate. The terrain includes road, woodland paths, firm tracks and fields and is a distance of 5 miles.
Aberporth
Aberporth, a pretty coastal village, shelters two beautiful sandy beaches named Dolwen and Dyffryn. Low tide comes complete with little rock pools on the sandy beach where children gather for hours of entertainment.
Newborough
An excellent, sandy beach backed by forest and extensive dunes, at the south-western tip of Anglesey.

Penderyn Distillery is located in the former Old Board School in Lloyd St, Llandudno. You can visit the distillery shop, or take the hour-long tours, which are available seven days a week. Masterclasses are also available.

Machynlleth railway station is on the Cambrian Line from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth. Trains also depart from here for the Cambrian Coast Line to Pwllheli.
