Known locally as Bennar Beach, Tal-y-Bont Beach is north of Barmouth and the Mawddach Estuary. It forms part of the large sand system of Morfa Dyffryn which is designated as an area of Special Scientific Interest as one of the most adaptable ecosystems in the UK with sand dunes that are constantly developing.
