Multi-award-winning writer and director Dan Freeman is on a mission to create the greatest fantasy movie of all time, here in Wales!

In this fascinating and informative show he demonstrates how stories work, how screenwriting can help you write anything, and how directors create moods. He'll also explain how this unique production is being brought to Wales, and how you can get involved in the world if Hold Excalibur.

You'll get to see some raw footage, designs and props from the forthcoming film, and there'll be an incredible opportunity to see a reading of a scene from the film and a live sword fight!

A fascinating workshop for budding writers of any genre, or simply those interested in the magic of cinema.

Dan Freeman is a writer and director working across multiple. Media. He began his career at BBC Radio, making comedy and drama for Radio 1, 4 and 5. He also worked as a standup comedian before turning to writing and directing.

As well as writing a novel and a hit play, he pioneered the podcast 'Audio Movie' and created the worlds first webcast. He has taught at BBC Radio and T.V. as well as the Raindance Film Festival. He is the CEO of Secret Planet Productions and writer and director of the Welsh fantasy feature film 'Hold Excalibur', currently in preproduction.
