Details
The Herefordshire market town of Leominster is located 12 miles north of Hereford, 11 miles south of Ludlow and 15 miles east of the border with Wales; it has a population of some 11,700 people. Set in the heart of the Herefordshire Marches, Leominster is best known for its medieval black and white buildings and antique shops.
The town is a gateway to much of Mid Wales with the A44 running west to Rhayader; to the north-west is Presteigne and to the southwest Hay-on-Wye. Leominster railway station is on the South Wales to North Wales route between Newport and Shrewsbury.
