The Swan Country House

The Swan Country House retreat is a converted farmhouse surrounded by the spectacular Cambrian mountains.

With its charm-filled quirky interiors, this inviting dog friendly holiday let offers a peaceful and secluded base for families and friends wishing to explore the stunning Welsh countryside or celebrate a special occasion in style.

Sleeping up to 10 people (8 adults, 2 children) in good-sized bedrooms, one with a large balcony overlooking the hills and four bathrooms, one of which is downstairs. There is large conservatory with panoramic views of the mountains with a 14 foot oak dining room table and comfy lounge area. The TV room with its vintage James Bond film posters and log burner is perfect to snuggle up and watch a film or two on the 42” Smart TV and an ideal room for children to have some space whilst the adults relax in the conservatory.

Horse holidays:

If you would like to holiday with your horse, we have stabling and paddocks available. Request for further information and pricing.

Concierge service:

If you are having a special party, we can be on hand if requested in advance as we live next door, so we can help you to ensure your celebration is a memorable one. This can include sourcing special cakes, party decorations, outside caterers and even an ice cream van for the afternoon.

Happy to take delivery of groceries in advance, bike hire or special day excursions for example fishing on one of the local rivers or lakes or an off-road 4×4 trip through the Elan Valley organised through local companies. “Posh picnics” can be ordered and delivered to an agreed location within the local area.
