The South Wales Shire Horse Show

About

Meet the gentle giants and most magnificent British Heavy Horse: the Shire Horse, at their best, at our annual show held at Bailey Park, Abergavenny.

You may also get the opportunity to see some other heavy horse breeds such as the Percheron, Clydesdale and Suffolk Punch in the heavy horse in hand and ridden classes. Many of these breeds including the Shire, Clydesdale and Suffolk Punch are on the Rare Breeds List and attending the show is a great way of seeing these beautiful horses.

And not forgetting the magnificent miniature horses, come and see our cheeky, yet most loved Miniature Horses in the mini ring at the show.
