The Montgomery Town Hall, built in 1748 to replace an earlier hall, is the centre piece of the town. It hosts the weekly market and is an ideal venue for musical, theatrical, community and celebration events.

This fine example of Georgian architecture has a large ballroom on the upper floor, which has recently been restored to its period colour scheme and boasts a fine refurbished wooden sprung dance floor.

Montgomery Town Hall is available for private hire for Weddings, Balls, Concerts, Parties, Dances, Family Reunions and other community events. A public entertainments licence is held for up to 200 people, and the building is fully licensed with a bar.
