This popular holiday village lies at the mouth of the broad, flat valley of the Afon Clarach. Clarach is the first bay to the north of Aberystwyth. The Clarach Bay is connected to Aberystwyth by a mile long nature trail which on clear days offers outstanding views across Cardigan Bay. The beach is popular for a wide range of watersports including swimming, sailing, windsurfing, surfing and kayaking. The resort is a magnet for camping and caravanning and the local sites offer a range of facilities to residents and visitors. Outside the resort, a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants and other local services can be found in nearby Aberystwyth.
