Sesiwn Fawr at Dolgellau

A weekend festival celebrating the best of Welsh and Celtic music held every year in this beautiful and truly unique old town.

If you have a guitar in the attic, or a bodhran in the cupboard, or maybe a fiddle under the bed, then bring them along! There is sure to be a jamming session in a pub or two.

If you’re a musician who would like to play in front of an audience, there will be a busking stage on the Square where you could perform in front of the crowd.

There are plenty of places to eat within 200 yds to the town centre offering a variety of meals – cafe, chip shops, restaurants, pub meals, etc. There are plenty of places to end your thirst around Dolgellau. Cwrw Llyn will be sold on the Square during the Saturday afternoon and there are several pubs hiding down the towns narrow streets, all with good craic and real ales on tap.
