The Trewythen is a Grade ll listed Georgian property in the heart of the small busy market town of Llanidloes Mid Wales. The property is set over 3 floors and has been extensively renovated into an elegant restaurant with rooms to provide 7 uniquely designed bedrooms a casual fine dining restaurant ‘Chartists 1770’ which has recently been awarded 2 AA Rosette's.

The accommodation offers 7 large, bright en-suite bedrooms incorporating period fireplaces, the rooms are all named after important local landmarks, which has been awarded 4 stars by Visit Wales.  All rooms include free Wifi, flat-screen digital TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a range of toiletries to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Room rates all include a Full Welsh-cooked breakfast with our ingredients locally sourced. 

Llanidloes is the first town on the River Severn & the gateway to the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, Llanidloes offers over 30 walking routes that link the town with smaller surrounding villages of Llangurig, Llandinam, and Trefeglwys, perfect for people wanting to experience the beautiful landscape of Wales.

Limited free parking is available at The Trewythen. There is also a large public car park to the rear of the building which includes 4 electric charging points.

Open 7 dats a week, the Chartists 1770 Restaurant has been awarded 2 Rosettes providing fine dining focused on creating beautifully crafted dishes, seeking out the best available produce, with a passion to delight, share our curiosity and our love of delicious artisan food.
