Details

Talybont has a rich heritage of mines and mills. This walk takes in signs of past industry, Including the most notable example at the Leri Woolen Mills which once produced fine tweed but is now abandoned. We will also visit the grave of 'Taliesin', the chief of Bards. The walk starts and finishes in Talybont, with the opportunity to view information about the Leri Mill in the local pub afterwards.

A 5.5 mile Grade B (Moderate) Walk, ascent 1250ft/380m, taking about 4 hours.
Meet at Y Talbot 09:30 or the Green, Talybont (SN 654892) at 10:30.
