Details

Come for a 4 mile, guided sunset walk in the hills of the Elan Valley.

Local farmer and County Mammal Recorder Sorcha Lewis will take you up the hills of the Elan Valley to see the sun set over the beautiful landscape. Watch the stars emerge and learn about local wildlife as you walk over to Tynllidiart Hill to learn about the work of the Elan Valley Dark Sky Park. As this is a moderately strenuous walk across upland terrain, please wear your walking boots, bring warm clothing, a hot drink, food and a torch. Meet at Gwaelod y Rhos Car Park (SN 902 673)

Please note, in case of bad weather, we have a backup date of 02/05/2020. We will confirm closer to the time.

This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
