About

The Hafren provides entertainment and cultural experiences through a varied programme of productions and events throughout the year, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

A premier entertainment venue in the heart of Mid Wales, The Hafren is based in Newtown and hosts many different shows; from comedy to dance, choirs and orchestras, cinema and children’s entertainment. We’ve also seen famous faces such as Jack Dee, Al Murray, Max Boyce and Lulu to name a few.

The Auditorium can comfortably seat over 500 people, and there is level access from the car park for disabled visitors.

The Gallery-Bar showcases exhibitions from our local talented artists, and the bar is open for refreshments.

Meetings & Conferences

We have different facilities on offer to accommodate Conferences, Business Meetings, Events and Special Occasions, with on-site technical support.

The Hafren is easy to get to, has a large car park with free parking, and reserved spaces for disabled visitors.
