The Tourist Information Centre provides a service for local visitors and those from further afield who are visiting the local area. The team will be available to answer any questions and provide information on accommodation, travel, attractions, activities and events within Newtown and the local area.

The Robert Owen Resource Centre is located in the centre of Newtown at: The Cross, Broad Street, Newtown, Powys, SY162BB.

The centre includes the Tourist Information Point, Robert Owen Museum, a reading room (With computer and printing facilities) and the Town Council Offices.

BY TRAIN: Newtown railway station is a 10 minute walk from the town centre. There is parking at the station and taxis are available in the town centre

BY BUS: Newtown bus station is located in the town centre off Back Lane (opposite Argos) with services from/to Shrewsbury, Llanidloes, Machynlleth, Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, Merthyr Tydfil, Cardiff, Aberystwyth, Birmingham and London.

BY CAR: A458 from Shrewsbury to Welshpool; then A483.

Accessible by Public Transport: Newtown station is 0 miles away.
