The Spencers Bar & Brasserie in the Metropole Hotel, is a popular venue for both locals and visitors to the area.
THE Brasserie offer light snacks to more extensive meals including for example:
Wok fried Clonakilty black pudding with Pembroke potatoes
chirizo and poached hens egg or grilled Panty Gawn goats cheese,
beetroot and pine nut salad on Organic sunflower rye bread.
Mains include giant cod in Felinfoel ale batter, Rib eye or fillet of Welsh Black Beef. Delicious desserts include homemade spotted dick with creamy custard or lime cheesecake with summer berries and citrus syrup.

By Road
Located in the centre of Llandrindod Wells The Metropole Hotel is easily accesible by Road. The A483 passes in front of the hotel. Our large car park is situated to the rear of the hotel.
If you are coming from the south the best route is over the second Severn Bridge and up the A449 then A40 to Abergavenny. This is all Motorway or Dual carriageway. It is about 45 miles to Llandrindod from Abergavenny.
From the east take the A44 from the M5
From the north take the M56 off the M6 then the A483
