Llangadog railway station is on the Heart of Wales Line from Shrewsbury to Swansea and is located adjacent to the A4069 (turn off the A40 six miles south-west of Llandovery). The postcode is SA19 9LU. The station is unstaffed; buy tickets on the train. Live Departure screens, payphone. Car parking no charge for passengers - 4 spaces. Llangadog is a request stop; ask the conductor/indicate to the driver that for the train to stop. The station is less than half a mile to the village centre; turn right on leaving the station.

Train times from 15 December 2019 to 16 May 2020 are:-

Departures for Swansea/arrivals from Shrewsbury Monday to Friday are at 06.54 (from Llandovery), 08.45, 13.02, 16.59 & 21.07; Saturday 07.57, 11.43, 16.47 & 20.45. Sunday at 14.47 & 19.11.

Departures for Shrewsbury/arrivals from Swansea Monday to Friday are at 07.18, 10.41, 15.44 & 19.38 (also at 06.07 - Carmarthen to Llandovery); Saturday 05.41, 10.26, 14.25 & 19.30. Sunday at 12.24 & 16.48.
