Wildlife & Nature Event, Wed 17 Apr 2019, £4-£5

SY10 0LZ

When nature starts to wake up from its long winter sleep, make sure you're outside to see it! The signs of springs' arrival can form wonderful memories of nature as a youngster and make it exciting to see and hear every year. Join us as we take our 'springo bingo sheets' out and about on a nature hunt and tic off the amazing signs of spring as we go. We'll also grab some binoculars, take a trip down to our hide and take a look at the beautiful birds that visit our feeders at this time of year and take a look at which birds eat what food.

We all know that our feathered friends are easy on the eye but have you ever stopped to listen to their song? We'll use our 'birdsong recorder sheet' together to help you start to learn some of the common bird songs. BUT, it's not just birds that make a noise, we'll make out own ear trumpet and listen to some insects too!

The event runs from 11am to 2pm but we will stop for lunch so please bring along a butty box or there is a cafe opposite us. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking essential - Call 01691 870278.
