For paddlers we have canoes, kit, minibus with driver and trailers available to hire from 'want to canoe?'. Good links to other sites and access points e.g. River Usk, Upper Wye, Llangorse Lake, Hill and Mountain Walking, Caving, Climbing.

The Studio can be used in conjunction with our two Holiday Cottages and the Camping areas. We are also conveniently situated within walking distance of Hay-on-Wye where there is B&B accommodation, a first class hotel, Air B&B and more.

The Studio has been purpose-built with Outdoor Leaders, Paddlesport and our existing farm visitor-experience in mind but we are also looking forward to welcoming new groups, ideas and dynamics. The space comprises:

Peace and Quiet - in a private, remote woodland location close to the River Wye, ample parking for up to 20 cars

Close to Hay on Wye - despite the peaceful location the farm is ten minutes stroll into Hay on Wye town centre

Sustainable and Low Impact - the underfloor heating is wood-powered and all the wood is harvested from the farm by us

Sensitive to ecology/wildlife - we work to an ecological plan on the site to protect the abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna we are so lucky to live and work amongst. We have regular support and inspections from an independent ecologist.

Wheelchair Accessible toilet within the studio area of the building. Accessible shower/toilet facilities.

Outdoor Commercial Kitchen area; undercover in the courtyard, offering washing-up, food-prep area, wood fired barbeque/grill & pizza oven and gas burners.

Family-Run - Aubrey and Clare live at the Larchwood Studio building and Ros, Geoff & Katy are a short walk away at Wyecliff - there's always a member of the family on hand if required.
