What we can offer?Group walking team photo

We offer both fully guided walking sessions and mountain training all over the country. You might just want a local guide to see you through a mountain day or you might want a number of guides to lead a variety of groups, either way we can cater for both. We can also provide you or your group with training too. We are able to develop the following skills for you and your group:
· Navigation using map and compass

· Route planning and the use of route cards

· Group Management

· Night Navigation

· Hazards and Weather

· Camp Craft

For those who just want to get into the hills, we can offer half day sessions to week-long expeditions and more.
Youth Groups and DOE

Many youth organisations are now involved with the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, which requires expedition experience for all levels. A hill walking expedition usually features in one or more stages of the award for most applicants and we are able to provide award specific Duke of Edinburgh training and assessment at all levels. We are also able to offer support and assessments for the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) and other awards such as the Walking Group Leader (WGL) and Mountain Leader Awards (ML).
