Climbing at Blue Ocean Activities & Adventure

Blue Ocean Activities & Adventure provide outdoor activities in South & West Wales, our activities are designed for groups of all sizes including Stag & Hen parties looking for adrenaline, excitement and a fun filled weekend!

Get a fantastic introduction to Outdoor Climbing, ideal for those who are looking for their first outdoor rock climbing experience. Ask any climber and they will tell you that indoor climbing is great, but outdoors is where the fun really happens.

Your experience will start with a safety briefing from your instructor who will teach you how to use the equipment before you scale the 30 to 60 ft crags rocks in the beautiful Brecon Beacons or the fantastic quarries of Morlais in Merthyr Tydfil.

Your half-day session will include an introduction to climbing, knots and team belaying, safety awareness, climbing techniques and climbing etiquette. Full, professional instruction will be provided throughout to help you feel confident with your climb.

All of our climbing instructors are qualified and experienced. We are also AALA licenced which give the peace of mind that youre in safe hands.
