Blaenau Ffestiniog railway station is the terminus of the Conwy Valley Line from Llandudno Junction; most trains run from/to Llandudno. Trains connect at Llandudno Junction with the North Wales Coast Line from Chester to Holyhead.

The station is also the terminus of the Ffestiniog Railway narrow gauge line from Porthmadog. It is located just off the A470 in the centre of the town. The postcode is LL41 3HE.

The station is unstaffed; buy tickets on the train.

Blaenau Ffestiniog railway station is located close to the A470 and A496 roads. The A496 provides access to Porthmadog, whereas the A470 is a main North/South route through the town.

The bus station is located upon exiting the railway station next to the car park and taxi ranks.
