Our parties are proving very popular, especially as there are so many different bits to Machinations visitor centre such as the Automata Exhibition and the Rabbit Village as well as the cafe itself.

You can hire the entire space for that extra special celebration and know that the space will be suitable for children as well as adults. Bring your own musicians, throw a dinner party, throw a Playbarn party, have a table tennis party, host your own themed food evening or let us do it for you!

The possibilities are endless...just let us know what your needs are, we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Our fantastic new Play Barn including climbing equipment, soft play stuff, ball pit etc. is now up and running with plenty of room for bouncy castles for birthday party bookings.

There is also a full size table tennis table available for those wanting to get a bit more active.

We run model making parties for children where everyone gets to take a finished working mechanical model home but can also accommodate all sorts of other creative ideas such as pottery decorating, puppetry etc. We don't mind the mess!

We provide structured sessions for school groups using Timberkits which tie in perfectly with parts of the Design Technology curriculum where children really enjoy the hands on work and learn about mechanics in a fun way.

Family celebrations can use any bit of the building and the acoustics are good for live bands but it must be noted that we are not a licensed premises.

We can take bookings for any age groups, adults and children, with the confidence that there will be something to keep everyone happy and busy.
