Access Statement For Tan-y-Graig <br /><br />Introduction <br /><br />We have ten self catering accommodation sleeping from 1-12 and Tan-y-Graig is one of our four bedroom properties its on two levels kitchen, lounge and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms downstairs and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms upstairs. <br /> <br /><br />Pre-Arrival <br /> <br />We have a website www.ystumgwern.co.uk <br />The access statement can be emailed or sent by post. <br />We are a short walk to the nearest bus stop and to the Railway Station. <br />Tan-y-Graig is situated in the quiet town of Harlech with the castle as a back drop. We can arrange to have groceries delivered to your accommodation or Iceland do a home delivery. We have a book which gives details of the local accessability in the area. The local Tacsi can take a wheelchair user as well as able bodied 01341241423 Mr Idris Jones <br /><br />Arrival & Car Parking Facilities <br /> <br />The parking area is outside the cottage on level tarmaced surface. Lighting of the area is good after dark, <br /><br />Main Entrance & Reception <br /> <br />The enterance is well lit. Its a glassed door which which opens and shut with a yale key. A guided tour is given on arrival and help is at hand whenever its requiered <br /><br />Kitchen <br /> <br />There is ample lighting and it has a laminate floor with no rug. There are written instructions on how to use the equipment and you are also shown on arrival. Storage is available from a seated position. The kettle is cordless and easy to grip. The microwave is located on the work surface for easy access and the electric stove has a ceramic hob and the oven has a pull handel. The sink tap is a mixer tap.The fridge freezer is located on the floor and easy to access. The dishwasher is under the worktop and easy to fill. The washing machine is a front loader and there is a washing line in the garden. <br /><br />Lounge <br /><br />The lounge is located on the ground floor. Manoeuvrability within this area is reasonable and furniture is moveable so it can be rearranged to suit. There is seating available with arm rests and b ack support. The furniture contrasts in colour to its surroundings. The TV is not wall mounted and has a remote control and Teletext facilities. The room is quite light but there is ample additional lighting available if required. The floor is laminated with one rug. <br /><br />Bedrooms<br /><br />Bedroom 1 twin downstairs <br /> <br />The door has a leaver and can be opened and closed from a seated position. The floor surface is carpeted and there is a rug which can be easily removed when requiered. The height of the bed is 520mm and all lighting is accessed from a seated position and there is lighting available at the bedside. There is ample room for manoeuvrability within the room. Storage is available at a range of heights available <br /><br /> En-suite Bathroom <br />There is a white bathroom suite which is not a colour contrast to the walls <br /> It has a bath 1700 long and an over head thermostatic power shower. <br /><br />Bedroom 2 downstairs<br /> The bedroom is a double divan bed with carpeted floor. General ambient lighting. It has an ensuite bathroom. <br />En-suite shower-room <br />It has a laminated floor and the door opens into the bedroom. It has a shower tray 1200mm long and an over head thermostatic power shower. <br /><br /> <br />? Bedroom 3 upstairs <br />This is a twin bedroom . The door has a leaver. The floor surface is carpet and there is a rug. The height of the bed is 520mm and there is lighting available at the bedside. There is ample room for manoeuvrability within the room. Storage is available at a range of heights. <br />En-suite Shower-room <br />It has lvinyl flooring and the door opens into the bedroom. It has a1200 mm long shower tray and an electric thermostatic power shower. The shower head is height adjustable. There is no shower seat available. There are no grabrails within the shower The hand basin has separate twist taps. <br /><br /> Bedroom 4 upstairs <br /><br />The bedroom is a double divan bed with carpeted floor. General ambient lighting. It has an ensuite bathroom <br /> <br />En-suite Shower-room <br />It has lvinyl flooring and the door opens into the bedroom. It has a1200 mm long shower tray and an electric thermostatic power shower. The shower head is height adjustable. There is no shower seat available. There are no grabrails within the shower The hand basin has separate twist taps. <br /><br /><br />Leisure Facilities <br /> <br />There is a gas barbaque in the garden and a picnic area. Within a short walk there is the town play ground, the swimming pool, the railway station, the beach and the castle <br /><br /><br />Additional Information <br /> <br />Equipment can be hiered from the local Red Cross.
