Situated only 5 miles from Llanidloes, the Old Vicarage is a late Victorian property tastefully converted to a cosy Guest House, retaining the original windows, wooden shutters, oak staircase and marble fire-places upstairs. The house is set in gently sloping informal gardens. Late arrivals by arrangement. No cots available but parents welcome to bring own travelcot. All bedrooms are well furnished and have full en-suite facilities, heating, tea/coffee tray and colour TV. There is a lounge with a library of many interesting books/maps for guests to borrow. Fires are lit in the lounge on colder evenings. The dining room has separate tables and is fully licensed. Packed lunches are available to order. Pets are always welcome and as the guest house is in a cul-de-sac, with no passing traffic, there are plenty of safe dog walking areas on the doorstep. Tea and home-made cakes are available all day either in the lounge or in the garden on the Vicarage lawn. Smoking allowed in lounge and garden only.
