Brecon Choir Festival was set up in 2022 with the aim of bringing the best of the Welsh choral tradition together with the most exciting emerging choral talent in the UK and internationally.
The third Brecon Choir Festival will take place from 19th - 21st July, 2024, showcasing a range of choirs, musical genres and young talent. The programme will include a number of free events and the wonderful Walking Singing Tours ,...and of course Afterglows
Young Singers Award 2024 - The four shortlisted candidates will be singing to a small audience and two judges on our competition day. March 9th at 3.30pm. You can book tickets to this event in the Watton Church in Brecon here.
The 2024 candidates are Thomas Crook Taylor, Penelope George, Katherine Foxhall and Rhys Hunter.
The winner of the competition will have the opportunity of performing as the solo artist at the Festival’s Saturday night concert with The London Welsh Male Choir on Saturday, 20th July 2024.
