The perfect rural retreat for walkers, bird watchers, mountain bikers/cyclists, artists, photographers and star gazers. The four cottages are set in 45 acres of native woodland and pasture leading to the water's edge of the Mawddach Estuary. Watch the buzzards wheel overhead or hang out with the herons.

TY'R ADAR ("House of the Birds"), PINE COTTAGE, SMALL BARN and LITTLE HAVEN adjoin The Slate Shed B&B at Graig Wen and share the same massive roof of a converted Victorian slate cutting mill which perches above the estuary. Walk straight onto the coastal Mawddach cycle/foot path or explore upland walks in the forest and foothills of Cadair Idris. Fairbourne's sandy, Blue Flag beach, steam railway and shops are 2 miles away and you can walk to Barmouth across the famous bridge.
