Ty Cerrig offers a warm friendly atmosphere together with an excellent standard of accommodation. We comply with all current fire regulations (OCT 06) and are fully protected for peace of mind and security.
Three first floor rooms have views of Cardigan Bay and two are situated on the ground floor. With two doubles, one twin and three family rooms we can cater for most accommodation needs. All rooms are en-suite and are constantly refurbished to maintain high standards. All rooms have colour TV with free view, hairdryer, shaver plug and bathroom sundries. We have a guest lounge/dining room with wide screen TV and 24-hour access to tea and coffee facilities along with a fridge/freezer and microwave.
We are situated a ten minute stroll from New Quay centre and the main blue flag beach or two minutes by car. Set back from the main approach road to New Quay, we are ideally located to access all local attractions by foot or car. We are situated close to Haven Quay West caravan park.

From the north - along the coast road - A487 - at Llanarth, junction B4342 into New Quay. From M4 Carmarthen follow the A484/A486 into New Quay. Ty Cerrig Guest House is situated opposite Quay West Caravan Park.
Public Transport: Nearest Railway Stations are at Aberystwyth to the north and Carmarthen to the south. Buses from Aberystwyth are at 5 minutes past the hour, (550 service). Buses from Carmarthen are at 10 minutes to the hour, (201 service).

We have private parking with all spaces no more than 20 metres away from the front door - luggage assistace offered. There is an 11'' rise from the path into the main hall.The front door is some 32'' in width. (No ramp to the front door due to a neghibour complaint) We currently have one ground floor room available which is on the same level as the dining/lounge room where tea and coffee is available 24 hours. This room has a large patio window for the partially sighted and also has an en-suite shower room - No hand rails and a 6'' rise into the shower. There are wooden floor boards in the ground floor room while the rest of the prmises has fitted carpets with no rugs. We have emergency lights located on the landing and over the main front door offering 24 hour permenant light. We welcome assistance dogs and can provide both a basket and water bowl. We have no public phone but the house phone is always accessible especially in an emergency. New Quay : Ty Cerrig is situated approximatley 3/4 mile from the centre of New Quay village. Getting to New Quay other than by car cn be very hazadous as there is a distinct lack of payments and a very narrow approach road. There is a bus stop some 50 metres away from Ty Cerrig going into New Quay. There are three main car parks in New Quay, two are situated in the top of the viallge anf the other on sea front next to the Wellington Inn hotel. Be advised that there are not two many pavements in New Quay and where there are, many are obstructed by cars. There are sloping ramps to both the main pier and the main sandy beach. Disabled toilets are situated opposite the Blue bell public house at the top of the beach.
