Discovering Llanerchaeron
Cycle Route: Aberaeron - Llanerchaeron - Aberaeron
Start/Finish: Aberaeron Tourist Information Centre
Distance: 10miles
Time allowance: 1 - 2hrs

Commencing from the Aberaeron Tourist Information Centre, follow the signs for Ceredigion County Cycle Route 3 through the town and onto the dedicated cycleway along the beautiful bank of the river Aeron. This is a flat, traffic-free cycelway - les than a mile from Aberaeron - with a picnic site en-route and several benches at scenic points.

The cycleway leads to Llanerchaeron, an 18th century Welsh gentry estate, with house and gardens designed by John Nash. Admission is charged though cyclists are entitled to a discount.

From Llanerchaeron, retrace your route to Aberaeron, or continue the route as it climbs the southern slopes of the Aeron Valley.

Take care on the descent back to Aberaeron, as it steeply descends to a mini-roundabout.
Take the second left to return to Aberaeron's town centre.
