Medieval Monks' Trod at Elan Valley / Cwm ElanMedieval Monks' Trod at Elan Valley / Cwm Elan

A 6 mile high-level hillwalk with only a 150m ascent, following in the footsteps of the Cistercian Monks.

Numbers are very limited so please book early on 01597 810880. Meet at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre (Grid Reference SN928646) at 10am, back about 2.30pm.

For walks please bring suitable clothing and stout boots. The weather can turn quickly here at any time of the year, so it’s always advisable to bring waterproofs. Sun cream and insect repellent are also advisable. It is a good idea to bring a drink for any walk, and for the longer hill walks you will need to bring a packed lunch.
