The Miners' Trail / Llwybr y Mwynwyr
1.5 miles / 2.4 kms
Starting from the spectacular viewpoint in the car park of Bwlch Nant yr Arian, you will drop down onto the leat that once carried water from the upland lakes to the lead mines in the valleys below. After a short while the route diverts from the leat and climbs steeply up onto the ridgetop, where at 1000ft, you will be greeted with a magnificent view overlooking Cardigan Bay. From the ridgetop, you drop down ito the tress all the way to Llywernog pond, past the education area and onto the all ability Barcud trail which will lead you back to the visitor centre and car park. Walking shoes with a good grip are recommended and a reasonable level of fitness is required for this walk.
