The museum is above a shop in Terrace Road, 100 metres from the sea front.
The main entrance stairs are next to Boot's the Chemists. There is also a staircase and lift to all floors of the museum in the Tourist Information Centre on the corner with Bath Street.

Short term parking spaces in local streets and along the Promenade: these are often full by 10 am. There are car parks on Park Avenue about 5 minutes walk from the museum.
