Teifi Valley RailwayTeifi Valley Railway

The Teifi Valley Railway, one of the famous little trains of Wales was created from the remaining portion of the Great Western Railway which served the West Wales rural area. Situated near the famous market town of Newcastle Emlyn between Carmarthen and Cardigan this 2 mile journey offers the visitor a splendid view of the Teifi Valley and a nostalgic reminder of the history of steam.

Journey through lovely countryside, unspoilt woodland on either side of the tracks as you pass ancient stone workings, over the long forgotten drovers bridge and along the banks of the river Teifi.

The steam locomotives ''Alan George'' 1874 and ''sgt Murphy'' 1918 together with Sammy ''1959'' our disel locomotive will be in service to offer the visitor a never to be forgotten experience.
