Over this weekend the popular Llechfan Garden Railway at Wharf Station will be running.

All day live steam and electric models will be running at Wharf Station's Llechfan Garden Railway. See famous narrow gauge trains and impressive locomotives in miniature, including Talyllyn locomotives and rolling stock! Admire the wonderful layout with its many aspects. The Garden Railway is free of charge.

During the day there will also be a special diesel-hauled train, for which our normal Day Rover tickets will be valid.
hroughout the day you will have the chance to live a childhood dream and get behind the controls of a Steam locomotive for a short distance-for just £10! There is no need to book, just turn up and go.

King's Bistro at Tywyn Wharf will be open to all for evening meals. The bar will also be open, with real ales, wines and spirits.

An evening train will run which our Day Rover tickets will be valid on. Alternatively, a ticket can be bought for this train only at 20% off.

Tywyn is on the A493 road from Machynlleth to Dolgellau. Approaching from Aberdyfi Wharf station is on the left. Coming from Dolgellau, go through the town centre past the National Rail station for 300yds and we are on the right. Large car park 100 yards away.

Parking is also available at Dolgoch and Abergynolwyn stations, located on the B4405 Bryncrug to Talyllyn road.

King's Licenced Cafe & Bistro - at Tywyn Wharf station open from breakfast to afternoon tea, and on selected evenings.

The Narrow Gauge Railway Museum - Free museum at Tywyn Wharf telling the story of the narrow gauge railways of Wales and beyond.
Quarryman's Caban - tea rooms at Abergynolwyn station, open when train are running. Most trains take a 20-30 minute break here.
Railway car parks at Tywyn Wharf (£1 )and Abergynolwyn (Free). There is a privately owned car park at Dolgoch Falls (charges).
