Caer Beris Manor

Some of the finest fishing in Britain is on our doorstep. The Irfon flows through our grounds and has first class trout and grayling fishing. Quality coarse fish are also caught. Salmon, although now not as numerous, run along our river.

Llyngwyn Fishing Lake

Llyngwyn is a 16 acre spring fed natural lake situated in a secluded area 3 miles east of Rhayader. As long ago as the 12th century this lake was stocked with Carp by the Cistercian Monks from nearby Abbey-Cwm-Hir.

Penygarreg Reservoir

Elan Valley Reservoirs and Dams are situated in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, 3 miles west of Rhayader. Each of these reservoirs support an abundance of wild brown trout and are also stocked. Fly fishing only.

Rheidol Weir

Dinas Reservoir and Nantymoch Reservoir provide an excellant angling experience. Both lakes are bank fishing only. Nantymoch is fly only but on Dinas spinning and worming are also allowed.
