Aberaeron offers everything one might expect from a coastal town with shops, restaurants, beaches and a picturesque harbour. There are two cycle routes that start from the harbour and there is also a 2 mile cycle trail from Aberaeron to Llanerchaeron.

The Secret Garden Cycle Route:

Aberaeron - Ciliau Aeron - Cilcennin - Cross Inn - Pennant/back to Aberaeron
Start/Finish: Aberaeron Tourist Information Centre
Distance: 20miles
Time allowance: 3 - 4hrs

Two Ports of Call Cycle Route:

Aberaeron - New Quay / New Quay Aberaeron
Start/Finish: Aberaeron or New Quay Tourist Information Centre
Distance: 14miles
Time allowance: 1 - 2hrs
This route can be ridden in either direction.

Cycle track Aberaeron to Llanerchaeron

The 2 mile traffic free cycle track to Llanerchaeron (National Trust property) is signposted off A482 South Street, by the bridge over the river. It is a flat route along the banks of the River Aeron to Llanerchaeron. There are picnic sites along the way and a shop & café at Llanerchaeron.
