These walks are part of our Annual Challenge Walks programme and follow in the footsteps of the Drovers of old who used to drive their sheep, cattle or geese across the mountains to the market towns of England and Wales. There is a choice of 10, 15, or 25 miles. The routes are way marked and the walks start from the square at 9.30am. Every year an old Drovers Inn is reopened for the occasion and will serve you throughout the day. All of the walkers who finish will receive a medal and a badge.
