Much of Ceredigion's coastline is designated Heritage Coast. Now with the opening of the Ceredigion Coast Path you can walk the length of the county from Borth to Cardigan. The beauty of the coastline and the abundant wildlife of Cardigan Bay can be full appreciated. The coastline is dotted with small villages and towns - John Nash is thought to have designed the Georgian town of Aberaeron. New Quay a sailing and watersports centre and Borth a sandy beach just right for surfing.
Inland, Lampeter is Wales's oldest University town and Tregaron are in the beautiful Teifi Valley. Further north Devil's Bridge is at the start of one of the most scenic drives in Wales. At Aberystwyth, The National Library of Wales has fascinating exhibitions of treasures throughout the year and The Arts Centre is hive of cultural activity.
