You’ll find a warm welcome at Dyfiview B&B – and fabulous views over the Dovey Valley towards the hills of Southern Snowdonia and The Cambrian Mountains. Dyfiview provides comfortable, spacious and modern accommodation within easy walking distance of the centre of the historic town of Machynlleth, on the southern boundary of the Snowdonia National Park. There is easy access to a range of local attractions including the Centre for Alternative Technology. The sandy beaches at Aberdovey are only 10 miles away and the area offers wonderful walking and cycling country far away from the crowds.

All Dyfiview rooms have en-suite facilities, hotel-quality beds, hospitality trays, flat-screen TVs with Freeview and DVD players, hairdryers and Wifi. Rooms available include a super king-sized double, or twin, or shared (up to 4 persons) and a standard double. Delicious traditional breakfasts are served catering for most dietary needs, including a separate breakfast menu for vegetarians and vegans as a speciality. Dyfiview is only 5 minutes walk from Machynlleth railway station, which is on the national rail network. There are good rail services to Aberystwyth and up the Cambrian Coast Line to numerous coastal resorts, Portmeirion, and the Talyllyn and Festiniog narrow gauge steam railways.

By Road:
Take A458 to Machynlleth. At the T junction in front of the clock in Machynlleth turn right, then just before the railway bridge (opposite a Texaco garage) turn right. Follow the road uphill, avoiding 2 turns to the left, continue uphill and round to the right. Dyfiview is number 21 at the very top of the hill on the right hand side. (Avoid the house on the left hand side called "Dovey View" (no: 14). This is not a B&B!).

By Public Transport: Machynlleth railway station is only 5 minutes away at the bottom of our road.
