Delightful cottages in spectacular "Kite" countryside on working hill farm with its own private nature reserve. Peaceful location yet lots to do. Walk, birdwatch or cycle from your door. See daily farm activities such as lambing and badger watch from our treehouse. Friendly animals, wildlife trail through conservation areas, play area, fishing. On farm bikes to borrow and wildcamping available. Wetroom. Hands on falconry sessions with Hawksdrift, recent success on Dragons' Den. We have solar hot water and woodchip central heating installed and are expecting our cottages to be carbon neutral by 2012.

THE TOLLANT
A superb barn conversion, where good design and energy saving have been prioritised. With a sunny, safe roof garden, the accommodation is all on the first floor (ground floor used for storage) via a short flight of steps. Three bedrooms (double, twin, double + single), shower room with separate WC, very well-equipped kitchen and a sitting/dining room with beautiful ash flooring and railway stove! French windows to a sheltered roof garden. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV, video and biomass central heating.

THE GRANARY
A sweet cottage converted from the old farm granary and forming part of the old farm yard. The Granary has a comfortable, open plan sitting room and dining area with kitchen. There is a small, sunny balcony opening out from the sitting area and a woodburner for those chilly evenings. The garden is at the back of the cottage and adjoins the children's play area. Set at the heart of our working farm, you can see the animals and poultry from your windows and join in farm activities if you wish. The Granary has lovely views across the meadows to the river Wye. There is a double bedroom and a twin with small shower room upstairs. CH and hot water produced by our biomass boiler.

THE LOFT
A charming apartment at the top of the owners' farmhouse, the apartment has great views and is popular with couples. The sitting room incorporates a dining area and kitchenette. The spacious bedroom has a double brass bed and the bed settee in the sitting room provides extra bedspace if required. The sheltered roof garden has a southern and western aspect and is a great place to relax. CH and hot water produced by our biomass boiler.

This is a traditional working farm, with animals living freely and 200 acres of wonderful countryside to explore. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

From Rhayader B4518 going west - at outskirts turn right onto the "Aberystwyth Mountain Road" where there is also a brown 'Nannerth' sign and continue for 0.5 mile. Turn right onto unclassified council road, also with brown 'Nannerth' sign. Follow for 2.75 miles. Do not turn off the tarmac road. Farm at top of long straight hill. Avoid using satnav for last few miles or you will get lost!
