Grab a hard hat and set sail with a mysterious hooded boatman on this underground adventure to the past. Journey through a magical waterfall, your gateway to the Dark Ages and to a world of myth and magic.
Once inside the ancient labyrinth, be guided by your boatman around the tunnels and vast underground caverns whilst enjoying tales of King Arthur, dragons, giants, battles and more. Dramatic scenes, light and sound bring the stories alive.
The Arthur you hear of is the hero of the earliest legends, a Dark Age warrior fighting the Saxon invader to bring peace to the Island of Britain. His feats of bravery, his supernatural powers and his strength of leadership brought defeat to his enemies and his fame was sung throughout the land.
Cool when hot and dry when wet, this is the perfect attraction for all ages in all weathers.
The adventure continues above ground with further attractions to explore.
A further attraction Bards' Quest stows more ancient stories. In times gone by history and legend were kept alive by bards and storytellers but with the passing of time many stories have now been either lost or forgotten. The Bards' Quest challenges you to explore the paths of time and to search out the hidden tales. Once discovered, stop and be enthralled by some great stories from Wales.
King Arthur's Labyrinth & Bards' Quest start from the Corris Craft Centre which is also home to 9 craft studios and the resident designer-makers. Find unique items handcrafted with care for your home, garden and gifts for others. You can also drop by to make your own crafts.
In Y Crochan cafe you can enjoy lots of locally sourced ingredients which are used to create a tasty menu with a Welsh twist. The outdoor seating overlooks the small children's play area, ideal for keeping an eye on your little ones.
The Larder, our Welsh Food and Drink Shop, is linked through an archway to the café. The Larder’s shelves are stocked with delicious products which have been grown, reared and produced in Wales.
