Bro Dyfi Leisure Centre

Bro Ddyfi Leisure Centre is situated in the heart of the Dyfi Valley in the market town of Machynlleth.It has established itself as a centre offering quality leisure and fitness facilities suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Facilities include:

Swimming Pool
A 20m leisure swimming pool and 30ft flume. There are a range of activities for all ages & abilities all of which can be found on the swimming pool timetable. The pool is available for private hire and provides the ideal venue to celebrate a birthday or group party.

Fitness Suite
For a good workout our 20 station fitness suite provides a selection of cardiovascular and strength training equipment. A variety of fitness activities are available as well as promotions offering excellent value for money.

Sports Hall
A 3 badminton court sized hall with sprung floor is located on the ground floor. Here activities such as badminton / 5-a-side football / netball / short tennis / volleyball / table tennis / basketball / aerobics & circuit training take place. The sports hall can seat up to 400 and with its acoustic curtaining, lighting and sound system provides the perfect venue for a number of functions such as craft fairs / concerts / noson lawen / fashion shows / conferences / wedding parties & TV recording.

Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop serves a wide selection of homemade snacks, meals, cakes and pastries. Situated on the ground floor overlooking the swimming pool and during the summer months the garden terrace provides a relaxing atmosphere in which to grab a bite to eat or a substantial meal if needed. The Coffee Shop menus offer a variety of food to choose from and can cater for birthday parties, buffet lunches and dinners.

Climbing Wall
This ‘bencrete’ moulded 15ft climbing wall comprises of a ‘chimney’ / ‘stack’ effect and for the more adventurous an ’over-hang’. This climbing wall is suitable for experienced climbers only or for inexperienced persons (9years +) whilst under qualified instruction.

Bowls Hall
The indoor bowls hall consists of four rinks & a viewing area. It regularly hosts County & National fixtures and has a variety of local leagues. Bowls equipment is available for hire and rinks are charged on an hourly basis.

Squash Courts
Bro Ddyfi has a glass backed squash court with sprung maple wood floor. There are rackets and equipment available for hire.

Meeting, Conferences & Functions
A variety of rooms are available that can accommodate from 10 – 400 people with a selection of audio and visual equipment to choose from. Bro Ddyfi is the ideal venue for a variety of special occasions whether it be a conference, dinner, wedding, fashion show, concert or birthday party.

Soft Play
Our Soft Play area is a converted Squash Court requested by local parents. It's a safe indoor play area for under 8s and only costs £1 per hour.

Under 8s must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
