The beach at Llanrhystud is popular in summer for boating, fishing, water sports, and picnics - or just relaxing. A narrow shingle bank at high tide, but at low tide, it becomes wide and sandy ideal for windsurfing, swimming and general leisure activities. You can park right on the pebble bank behind the beach.

In the village the rivers Wyre, Carrog and Wyre Fach meet before flowing into the sea and along the coast to the south of the village there are several fine examples of old lime kilns. For bird watchers, the large, flat coastal fields around Llanrhystud attract migrant pipits, wheatears and wagtails, including small flocks of white wagtails in late April plus red kites, choughs and skylarks.

Green Coast and Seaside Award beach. Free parking for 15 cars. Dogs are allowed.
