At Lloyds, the welcome and every aspect of the service, has the personal touch of its resident proprietors, Tom and Roy, who since 1992, have established a reputation for superlative cuisine and hospitality

Lloyds has an array of individual touches, with great care paid to guests' comfort. It does not pretend to be quaint or grand. Four of the seven bedrooms are on the first floor, including both singles. The stairs to both floors are steep and narrow. Dinner is a leisurely occasion, to linger over the surprise, no-choice, five-courses, freshly prepared for you and carefully avoiding anything you don't like. Advance booking is essential, especially as on some evenings dinners may not be available.
